The Diocese of Liverpool required a website to act as the main hub of information for the Parishes, Clergy, Staff and members of the Diocese. Our main consideration for the project was to develop a content management system that allowed staff members to access and update the website regularly.
In general the in house editors had very basic computing skills and needed a system that was extremely easy to use and required little technical knowledge. In addition, the main administrator of the website required overall control of the other editors. Alongside editing features The Diocese of Liverpool needed a search facility for the whole of the website and an individual search facility for the news and events items.
The Diocese have been really pleased with the flexibility, functionality and ease of use the system offers and have commissioned CoCreate to undertake further projects as a result. At the last count, The Diocese of Liverpool website had over 600 pages and 15 editor teams.
