The Community Foundation for Merseyside is a registered charity that connects donors to the community and provides grants and support to local groups. Having distributed over £35million into the community, they required a website and content management system to boost their effectiveness.
In a joint project with design & advertising agency Balance ADC, we developed a unique website that is updatable by a variety of different editing teams within different departments.
Other integration within the system included a bespoke voting feature for their annual awards that reward successful projects and sponsors. Voters can anonymously vote for their chosen nominee and the results are gathered by the editors through a secure password protected area. This has helped to generate national and regional press coverage and culminates in the 'Spirit of Merseyside' award ceremony in Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
