The Brief

As a direct result of the success of the Diocese of Liverpool website, we were commissioned to design and develop a bespoke content managed, ecommerce website for Liverpool Cathedral, Europe's largest Cathedral.

The Solution

The aim was to establish Liverpool Cathedral as the online supplier of Clergy supplies as well as expanding retail sales beyond the 500,000+ visitors the Cathedral receives each year.

As the ecommerce system was to be managed by a number of staff with varying levels of computing skills we were conscious of combining simplicity of use whilst maintaining the functionality required to market and sell on an international stage.

Our design concept focused on creating a welcoming and personable website which retains the Cathedral's world famous brand. Our aim was to ensure that the website appeals to a cross-section of customers by clearly displaying their diverse product range, comprising of thousands of products from clothing to event tickets.
